At Keysource we understand the requirements of modern server configurations. We offer the insight and skills to design precision cooling solutions for new and existing rooms.
Today, cooling a computer room is not enough. Since it's the processors in the servers that represent the actual load, airflow cooling is the challenge. This means carefully considering air distribution - like the choice of racks and the layout of the room.

With the ever-increasing use of high density 1U and blade servers, the cooling requirements of computer rooms has rapidly climbed up the design agenda. Next to power, air conditioning should warrant the second largest M+E investment in a computer room build.
Precision cooling regimes control both temperature and humidity, allowing efficient heat transfer and control of static in the space. Processors may have fine operating tolerances, and high performance servers may not incorporate automatic thermal shutdown. In these cases, our designs include air conditioning redundancy to maintain acceptable operating conditions during plant maintenance and repair.
Underfloor cooling is common in many larger computer rooms. However, the ongoing 'room balance' must be monitored to avoid hot spots. Even when there is insufficient space to accommodate underfloor cooling, we can usually provide innovative strategies to create and maintain the environment required.
