DCiE Assessments
How to save on energy and money
Keysource have developed a DCiE (Data Centre infrastructure Efficiency) Assessment which provides Data Centre Operators with an indication of how well their physical infrastructure is performing and how it can be improved.
How does it work? A Keysource Data Centre Consultant will conduct an initial visit to take the necessary measurements of your facility and establish PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of the data centre. Keysource will then benchmark the facility against the Green Grid’s best practice guidelines including those for power, cooling, room layout, server racks and airflow, and will then highlight exactly where opportunities for improvement can be found.
After we have measured and established the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of the data centre, we will issue recommendations for improved performance as well as a reduction in energy consumption and operational costs of your data centre.
