An invitation to view one of the most efficient data centres in Britain
Keysource would like to invite you to visit one of the UK’s most energy-efficient and technologically advanced data centres.
This award-winning facility has achieved an annualised Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) figure of just 1.15. In its second year of operation it has saved Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) £620,000 whilst achieving a 6.2 million kWh drop in power consumption. Keysource’s engineering team has designed and built a state of the art facility utilising a close loop free cooling system that only requires the use of additional chillers for less than 100 hours each year.
This facility has recently won ‘the participant – new data centre’ category at the first EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres Awards and Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) is delighted with the ongoing success of the project. As a result, PGS has allowed Keysource to offer a small number of guests a tour of the data centre.
Keysource will reveal details of the design and construction, and unveil energy efficiency strategies that could save you 45% on your energy bills whilst still supporting high density IT loads with high levels of resilience.
