Date: 19th October 2011
Keysource in association with University of Leicester will be presenting at the Metering and Managing Energy Consumption in Data Centres workshop on Thursday 10th November 2011 at the University of London.
The workshop’s aim is to examine sector experience, and to share knowledge, with a view to answering questions such as:
– What improvement actions can be taken in existing data centres?
– How can metered data be used to drive concrete improvement actions
and make business cases for improvement?
– What are the best locations, and devices, for metering?
– What kinds of non-metered data can be helpful to energy improvement?
The workshop is organised by two JISC-financed projects – Responsible Energy Costs, led by Forum for the Future, and Green IT for STEM, led by the University of Bradford. Both are associated with HEEPI’s SusteIT project.
