PGS COC Award_141Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) has scooped the participant – new data centre award at the first EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres Awards. The facility at the company’s head office in Weybridge, Surrey was designed, built and and is now managed by Keysource, and is one of the most energy efficient data centres of its kind within the UK.

Keysource’s Rob Elder, who received the award on behalf of PGS at a ceremony in Nice, France, commented: “We would like to congratulate PGS on this achievement that recognises the company’s considerable hard work and commitment to reducing energy consumption and minimising environmental impact. As an Endorser we see the huge potential for organisations to improve efficiency and whilst PGS were early participants, it is a positive sign that an increasing number of organisations are now signing up to the EU Code of Conduct.”
