In order to meet the launch deadline for their new engine manufacturing centre in Wolverhampton, Jaguar Land Rover had an extremely short timeframe for deploying a new data centre. Keysource’s modular data centre design allowed the whole project to be delivered from design to hand over within just 20 weeks.
High efficiency was achieved by integrating an innovative indirect air-to-air cooling solutions that delivered a design PUE of 1.13. Keysource’s in house CFD modelling capabilities were used to develop a bespoke cold air delivery chamber, improving the air flow distribution within the room and providing additional rack space. Keysource’s team of experts also modified the air-handling units and integrated the solution with the company’s bespoke central control system, which ensures that the environment is closely monitored to optimise the performance of the cooling equipment, drive efficiency and provide an additional layer of resilience.
This world class facility was a finalist in the 2015 DatacenterDynamics EMEA Awards and won New Design / Build Project of the Year at the 2016 DCS Awards
