Efficient HPC facility for the University of Leicester
Leicester has a reputation for world-class research. Keysource designed and delivered their new advanced data centre for a new HPC cluster backed by a Capital Infrastructure Fund Award.
- Scalable design to support High Density – 150kW IT load extendable to 300kW. Flexible expansion achieved with zero downtime.
- Advanced ecofris cooling – free cooling using adiabatic cooling.
- Energy Performance – Annualised PUE improvement from 2.35 to 1.19 achieved. Surpassed target of 1.25.
- Operational annual saving of £130,000 and 830,000kg reduction in CO2 emissions
