Now in their eighth year, the Data Centre and Cloud Awards are designed to showcase “best in class services and innovation” and we look forward to digging out our tuxedos and ballgowns for an evening’s entertainment in the millionaire’s playground.
Commenting on the event, Gerd J Simon, chairman of the judges panel, said:
We have received an outstanding range of nominations and the winners will be presented before an audience of more than 400 people to recognise the best in this increasingly challenging and competitive industry.
So far this year Keysource has already been granted a RoSPA Award and crowned winner of the inaugural Sussex Super Growth Awards based on the company’s 135% growth performance over the last three years. We will keep our fingers crossed and let you know how we get on!
At Keysource we really enjoy getting out to as many events as possible in order to share our knowledge and expertise, as well as catching up with old friends from across the industry.
We are particularly excited by two upcoming events in London this February. First up is the High Performance Computing & Big Data Conference at the QEII Centre on the 6th, where we will be exhibiting.
Secondly, Data Centre World 2014 takes place on the 26th & 27th at the ExCeL. We will be on stand E75 – so please come along and see us. In addition, Keysource’s Rob Elder and Andrew Fletcher will be presenting on the 26th, so if you are attending make sure you don’t miss them.
Thirty-six data centre decision makers and influencers attended our industry event at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead as part of the Keysource 2010 data centre seminar programme. Attendees were given an interesting insight into our award winning efficient data centre designs, with expert speakers presenting informative case studies detailing projects designed and built over the last 18 months.
The audience, made up of senior management professionals from both the private and public sector, received useful guidance on energy efficiency strategies and how best to reduce power consumption whilst supporting high density IT loads with high levels of resilience.
Overall the seminar was a great success and generated some lively discussions. Our next event will take place at the PGS site in Weybridge, Surrey on Wednesday 9th June, where attendees will receive an all-access tour and demonstration of the UK’s leading data centre.
