Last month a team of Keysource engineers used their company volunteering days to upgrade the PA and Video systems at local youth football club Oakwood.

Since moving to its new offices near Gatwick earlier this year, Keysource has been actively engaging with the local community, encouraging colleagues to share their time and expertise to help local charities and support community projects.

Oakwood Football Club is a local youth football club based in Manor Royal and has 22 teams within its Youth section, supported by 12 qualified club coaches ranging from level 1 to UEFA A.  Having been at the same grounds since 1983, the club is in constant use and also acts as a training ground for League Two team Crawley Town.

As one of its local clubs Keysource is supporting Oakwoods U14 team as Kit Sponsor and is also investing in the club infrastructure.  As part of a modernisation and upgrade project the club recognised the need to install a new PA system as well as AV within the club house. Using our company volunteering days our engineers Mark Butcher and Ben Barritt installed the infrastructure and equipment to make sure everything was working.

Club Manager, Mike Way said:

Thank you very much to you and your guys. The install was completed last week and I had the honour of testing it out on Friday evening, giving a presentation during our managers meeting, which went off without a hitch. Huge thanks from everyone at the club, it will be invaluable.

In September the Keysource sales team spent the day promoting local charity St Catherine’s Hospice and their upcoming events and will be volunteering to collect donations as part of a Christmas Carol event in Gatwick Airport South Terminal later this month.
